ABSTRACT
In this talk, an overview of current computational modeling tools for solids, fluids, and their interaction in systems will be presented. Some aspects of challenges in resolving spatial and temporal scales will be discussed in the modeling of biological systems. In particular, the red blood cell system will be used as a typical multi-scale and multi-physics modeling example.
