Conference Overview

On June 5 - 6, 2015, the 12th Annual Conference on Frontiers in Applied and Computational Mathematics (FACM '15) will be held at the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) in Newark, New Jersey.

This conference is the twelfth in a series of annual conferences that have been organized by the Department of Mathematical Sciences and the Center for Applied Mathematics and Statistics at NJIT. The conference will focus on mathematics applied to problems in fluid dynamics, including complex fluids, bio-fluid dynamics, waves in fluids, and numerical methods. There will also be minisymposia in the areas of applied and bio-statistics.


Registration Information

Registration is now open to invited plenary speakers, confirmed minisymposium speakers, and NJIT faculty and students.

Contributed Presentations: The application for contributed presentations is also available for those interested in participating and is due April 30, 2015 (new, extended deadline). Funds are available for partial travel expense reimbursement for graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, and junior faculty poster presenters. Underrepresented groups, minorities, and women are encouraged to apply for travel support. Notification of acceptance will be sent out during the first week of May.
