Research Interests
-
Generally: Fluid mechanics, nonlinear PDEs/ODEs/discrete systems,
large-scale scientific computation, numerical analysis, mathematical biology
-
Currently: Modeling and simulation of blood flow and transport in the microcirculation
under normal and pathological conditions.
- Applications include oxygen
and nitric oxide transport during sepsis and the effect of blood flow and
transport on tumor growth
-
Computational techniques for solving partial differential equations
-
Model-based data analysis and image processing
