Research Interests: Nonlinear waves, optics, dynamical systems, especially the intersection of the three in solitary wave interaction problems, invariant manifolds

Postdoc:  NSF University-Industry postdoctoral fellow jointly in the Fundamental Mathematics Department at Bell Labs and at the Princeton Program in Applied and Computational Mathematics, 1999-2001
