» The main area for research projects will be the deformation of a soap film or similar structure in the presence of an electric field. |
|
» The governing equations of electromagnetic fields in macroscopic media and the dynamics of a fluid, including surface tension effects, will be reviewed. |

» Canonical examples from electromagnetics and fluid dynamics will be studied and analyzed. |
|
» Specific examples for solution by numerical methods will be identified and will be accompanied by demonstration of simple bench-scale experiments. |
