" An Introduction to the Study of Balanced and Orthogonal Arrays "

Balanced and Orthogonal Arrays can be used extensively in the field of Experimental Design. The existence of these arrays is very important when creating Balanced Incomplete Block Designs as well as Fractional Factorial Designs. One can explore the existence or non-existence of these arrays by applying classical inequalities to their fundamental combinatorial structure. Some techniques (and illustrative examples) for testing the existence of these arrays will be presented.
