" On Some Probabilistic and Statistical Aspects of Discovery of Species "

This talk is divided into three parts. In Part I, I will talk about some probabilistic aspects of discovery of all species in finite / infinite population set-up. Next, in Part II, I will discuss about some statistical aspects of the problem. Finally, in Part III, I will discuss analysis of one data set. The talk will end with a discussion on a two-phase strategy for real life applications.
