The DMS and associated Center
for Applied Mathematics and Statistics (CAMS) are home to rich and versatile
research activities. The Department has been recently ranked among the top 10
Mathematics Departments in the USA (Top Research Universities Faculty
Scholarly Productivity Index) by The Chronicle of Higher Education (2007).
