Course Title:

Mathematical Analysis II

Textbook:

Mathematical Analysis, 2nd ed. by Tom Apostol

Prerequisites:

Math 645 or permission

 

 

 

Exams:   There will be two mid-term examinations during the semester  The final exam will be scheduled by the university.

Grading: The two midterm exams will count 25% each, the final will be 35% and homework will be 15%.

Topics:

Sequence of Functions  (9.1-9.13) covered in January and February

Measure Theory and Lebesgue Integration (Chapter 10 and Handouts) covered in February, March and early April

Fourier Series and Fourier Integrals (Chapter 11) covered in April.
