Recent advances in the
focus
areas of mathematical fluid dynamics and mathematical biology, and in
other
areas of the mathematical sciences, will be presented.
Scientific Program
Keynote and plenary lectures will be
presented by:
- James Glimm, SUNY Stony Brook
- David W. McLaughlin, NYU - Courant
- John G. Milton, Chicago
- Dale Pullin, Caltech
and several minisymposia have been
organized in Fluid Dynamics, Mathematical Biology, and Applied
Mathematics. Contributed papers will be presented in poster
sessions. There also will be presentations on grant opportunities
by representatives of several funding agencies, including NSF and
AFOSR.
Contributed Papers
Contributed papers will be considered for
a poster session. The deadline for submission of titles and
abstracts is April 16, 2004. A 4' X 4' space (that can accommodate 16
standard pages) will be allocated for each poster.
